The Commissionerate of Industries,
Government of Andhra Pradesh, Foundation for MSME Clusters (FMC),
Bulk Drug Manufacturers Association of India [BDMA(I)], and
Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council (Pharmexcil) are pleased to
announce the Innovation Awards for MSMEs. The Award program is
intended to acknowledge, reward, and celebrate the spirit of
innovation among Andhra Pradesh based micro, small, and medium
enterprises operate in drugs, pharmaceuticals and
bio-pharmaceuticals spaces.
Innovation is often an activity that is undertaken by MSMEs without
themselves recognizing as such. More often than not, innovations
carried by MSMEs go unnoticed, unrecognized and unrewarded.
Innovation Awards Program provides platform to innovative
life-science enterprises to highlight their innovations. The State
level Award Program is envisaged to help innovative enterprises to
get recognition among industry, peers, customers, consumers,
government, and support-institutions. Unlike other innovation award
programs that are shadowed by big-ticket innovations and large
players, Innovation Awards for MSMEs acknowledges and rewards
small-ticket but critically important incremental innovations.

Benefits
Innovation Awards for MSMEs is
an excellent platform to highlight innovations to industry,
customers, and consumers. The Awards present numerous opportunities
of free publicity for innovative products, processes, and services;
besides one cash award of INR 2,00,000/-, one cash award of INR
1,00,000/-, along with total five Certificates of Excellence, and
testimonies from renowned personalities of national and
international distinction.
The Awards are envisaged to bolster brand value of innovations and
innovators (enterprises), which in turn, will help MSMEs in their
future endeavors of propagation.
Also, the winners will receive a specially designed Innovation Award
logo,
which they can use on their products,
documents, website etc., for promotional and marketing purpose.

All Andhra Pradesh based MSMEs operate
in drugs, pharmaceuticals, and bio-pharmaceuticals are encouraged to
apply for the Award Program.
